Where does the wind data come from?
From the Finnish Meteorological Institute's open data: the measurement of the nearest observation station and the HARMONIE model's hourly forecast. The data is licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Does the widget cost anything?
No. The widget is free. We ask that the link to Wind Radar remains under the embed code.
What do the colours mean?
If you set your own wind limit, a yellow bar means gusts above 80% of the limit and red means the limit has been exceeded. Without a limit, the colours follow wind strength (fresh and strong wind).
